At the West Berks Indoor Bowls Association AGM held on Friday, 23 October 2026 the club showed its appreciation of the hard work and dedication given by Mike Bartlett, who stepped down as Club Chairman after 12 years in post.
Mike was made an Honorary Life Member and presented with a magnum of champagne to the echoes of ‘For he’s a jolly good fellow’.
The meeting also showed its appreciation and thanks to long-serving Director, Derek Parsonson, retiring after 24 years voluntary service.
Angela Blades-Moore was voted in as the new Club Chair, the first female Chair since the club opened in 1985. We wish Angela every success in her new role.
