My wife Sharron and myself, Leyton, came to the Open Day in January…never tried bowls before ..but both fell in love with the game ..so after the training sessions ended we became members ….because we made so many friends in such a short time …we realised we all had something in common…just having fun playing a game on a level par with other like minded people…the members made us feel so welcome …it really is a great atmosphere and everyone are willing to help if you need it …the club is kept to a very high standard of upkeep and tidiness and is a pleasure to visit …as often as we can ….just a big thankyou to ALL the members and staff that make us feel welcome every time we visit ….ps the social side of the club is we think as important as the practical side of playing …they go hand in hand ….and the functions are organised with a 100% of fun guaranteed …..thankyou to all involved
